Fortnite skins May 2021: all the skins coming to Fortnite and how to get them

If you’re an avid Fortnite player, then you probably want to know which Fortnite skins you’ll be getting your hands on in May 2021. After all, who says you can’t be deadly and fashionable? Fortunately, Epic Games is constantly adding new skins to Fortnite Battle Royale, be it a collaboration with a pop-culture brand or one of its own characters.

Fortnite Season 6 is well underway now and it continues to be as hectic as Season 4 and Season 5 of Chapter 2. The Battle Pass included multiple collaborations, and more are continuing to appear in-game.

We’ve rounded up every Fortnite skin we expect to land in the battle royale in May 2021, including both skins confirmed by Epic Games and those which are rumored – but don’t worry, we’ve clearly signposted which are which. So, read on for all the Fortnite skins we expect in the near future.

Officially unveiled Fortnite skins

Batman Zero – Zero Point crossover

If you don't want to wait for the Batman Zero Point Fortnite skin, you can get it right now in the Item Shop. However, you might still want to wait a little bit longer, as you'll get it for free once you've input all six Zero Point crossover comic codes.

This design appears to be based on how the character looks in issue two of the mini-series, which is out now. You can either buy the comic physically or if you live in the US (or use a VPN) you can subscribe to DC Universe Infinite.

You can grab him from the item shop now for 1,500 V-Bucks, or in a bundle containing a pickaxe and glider for 2,300 V-Bucks.

Deimos – Fortnite Crew May 2021

The Fortnite Crew pack for May 2021 has been revealed, and it includes quite a lot more than just a skin this time. Alongside the new Deimos Fortnite skin – and cosmetics that match the character's appearance – you'll also be given access to the PVE game Fortnite: Save The World.

Fortnite Crew costs $11.99 (£9.99 / AU$15.99) per month and will net you 1,000 V-Bucks as well as the Battle Pass if you don't currently own it.

Rebirth Harley Quinn – DC Series

The Fortnite / Batman crossover has officially begun with the release of the first of six fortnightly comics. The six-issue miniseries has thrust the World's Greatest Detective onto the Fortnite Island, though he has no memories of who he is or how he got there.

Even if you aren't interested in lore there's still a good reason to pick up these comics: in-game cosmetics.

The first part includes a code for a new Rebirth Harley Quinn Fortnite skin, with future issues planned to include pickaxes and gliders for various DC characters. If you redeem the unique code from all six, you'll get an exclusive Armored Batman skin as well.

If you live in the US (or use a VPN) you could also sign up for DC Universe Infinite. Once your free trial has ended just read and finish each comic to receive a code to your email account (it can take a couple of hours so expect a slight wait).

Neymar Jr. – Soccer icon

After being rumored for a while,  the Neymar Jr. Fortnite skin has been revealed and is in the game. The wolf-like design for the skin has been teased all season and we now know it's a reactive style – like Iron Man's armor.

To unlock the Neymar Jr. skin you'll need to own the Battle Pass and complete a series of special challenges that went live on April 27. The challenges have been leaked by @HYPEX on Twitter if you'd like to prepare in advance.

Rumored Fortnite skins

Batman Caped Crusader pack - it's back

This Batman skin bundle is likely to make a return soon. Some players are already reporting that they can see it in the Nintendo eShop and that usually means that it won't be long before it'll be available for everyone.

The bundle includes two versions of the caped crusader: one design based on the Christopher Nolan film trilogy and another based on his comic book appearance. You'll also get a glider and a pickaxe too.

We expect the pack will cost around $15.99 / £12.99 / AU$ 19.99.

Katniss, Naruto and Samus – leaked collaborations

Thanks to newly leaked documents a few more collaboration skins have been teased for Fortnite. While a lot of them were planned for Season 5, and didn't happen, it's possible that these characters could be introduced as Fortnite skins in the future.

Headliners include Samus Aran from Metroid, Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, and Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto. There were also quite a few more like Arianna Grande and John McClane too.

There's no telling if or when these skins could be added, but we'll be keeping an eye out as Fortnite expands its Metaverse.

Catwoman – Batman crossover

Another Fortnite / Batman skin has potentially been unveiled. We can't be sure right now but we could soon see a new Catwoman Fortnite skin released as part of the crossover. Leaker HYPEX has shared that he thinks it's likely on Twitter, so we're on the lookout for leaks or an official announcement soon.

The Foundation – Leader of the Seven

The Foundation, a character that appeared in the epic Fortnite Season 5 event, is rumored to be becoming a Fortnite skin at some point in the future. It's likely we won't see him until Season 7 – as he's currently sealed within the Zero Point – but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Leaker Hypex found files related to the skin in-game so he could be on the way sooner than that, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Kevuru Games potential skin concept art

Here's a rumor to take with more than just a pinch of salt. Kevuru Games posted this image on Artstation, the team has worked on Fortnite skins before and these definitely look like characters that fit Fortnite's style.

Several leakers have shared the image online, but no one knows for certain if this concept art is for scrapped or upcoming in-game outfits.

There's no guarantee that all or even any of these skins will actually appear in Fortnite but they look too cool not to share. Our favorites are the Elvis Presley impersonator, the younger-looking skin that could be the son of Midas – given their similar gold, black and white color schemes – and the genie skin with a lamp for a shoe.
