Honor 20 Pro quad-lens camera specs leaked

The Honor 20 Pro could be one of the most exciting mid-range phones of the year, because rumors suggest its specs will actually be high-end – and that includes the camera, details of which have just been leaked in full.

According to slides shared on SlashLeaks, the Honor 20 Pro has a quad-lens camera on the back, with a 48MP f/1.4 main lens, a 16MP f/2.2 super wide-angle lens with a 117-degree field of view, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens for close-ups.

The 48MP and 8MP lenses are also both listed as having optical image stabilization, and there’s apparently a laser autofocus system.

It’s an impressive-sounding setup, one which on paper could almost rival the likes of the Huawei P30 Pro (though in practice we doubt it will). However, we’d also take this leak with a pinch of salt, as accompanying images of the lenses don’t quite match earlier renders supposedly showing the Honor 20 Pro.

We’ll know for sure soon though, as the Honor 20 Pro is set to land on May 21, likely alongside a standard Honor 20.

If other rumors are to be believed, the Honor 20 Pro could also have 6GB or 8GB of RAM, a high-end Kirin 980 chipset, up to 256GB of storage and a punch-hole camera; yet, being an Honor phone its price is likely to massively undercut those of most flagships.

So make sure you check back with TechRadar for the unveiling, where we’ll have all the news as it’s announced.
